And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distress, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (1 Corinthians 12:9-10)
Victor T. Stephens was born on April 24, 1955 in Suffolk, Virginia. Due to family circumstances, he relocated to Queens, New York in 1963. There, he was educated at Public School 147, Linden Jr. High School, and Andrew Jackson High School.
After graduating from high school, he was employed by Loeb, Rhoades, & Company -- a stock brokerage firm on Wall Street in lower Manhattan, New York City. Dissatisfied with the pay, he elected to return to school to pursue a higher degree. He began his university education at Queensborough College in Bayside, New York where he was awarded an Associates in Applied Science degree in Electronics Technology.
Upon graduating in 1978, he briefly engaged in model and acting training. Shortly thereafter, he began a career with the United States Postal Service in Flushing, New York. After eight years, he transferred to the Washington, D.C. Post Office. He was also employed with the U.S. Postal Service in Capital Heights, Maryland for four years. In his quest to find affordable living and a safe environment for his family, in 1990 he transferred to the North Metro Postal Service in Duluth, Georgia where he plans to remain for the rest of his career. Mr. Stephens, now a 30-year United States postal veteran, currently resides near his place of employment in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Mr. Stephens is married to the former Jacqueline A. Johnson. He considers Jacqueline as his best friend, his soulmate, and the Lord's greatest gift. Their family consist of four daughters, one teenage son, and two granddaughters.
Established as a man of few words, Mr. Stephens is a reserved, strong-willed, and opinionated individual. Amidst a blend of strengths and infirmities, his character also encompasses shades of shyness, boldness, and a youthful sense of humor. He is very passionate about his hobbies, beliefs, and the moral fabric of our society. While preferring peace and solitude, he also finds comfort with true friends of ethical character. At the core of his heart, Mr. Stephens is a sensitive, loving and faithful man. However, on account of his inherent reserved demeanor and intolerance for perfidious conduct, he is sometimes misconceived as unfriendly.
On the political front, Mr. Stephens is a conservative who supports the war on terrorism, but disagrees with the manner in which former President Bush conducted the war. He opposes illegal imigration with the exception in circumstances of mercy. On the issues of politics as it relates to morality, Mr. Stephens fiercely opposes Barack Obama's immoral and unethical views on abortion, homosexuality, and same sex marriage.
Mr. Stephens is not a "religious" man, but rather a truth seeking spiritual Christian who has accepted salvation solely by faith in Christ. Embarrassingly, he use to be a member of World Changers Church International. After four years, the Lord opened his eyes to His truth and he withdrew from the charismatic, but aberrant teachings of Creflo Dollar.
In the words of Mr. Stephens, "I elected to accept the Berean model by searching the scriptures for myself
(Acts 17:11) -- asking God for wisdom to understand where I could accurately discern what is taught from the pulpit. After much study and research, I have ascertained that most churches today have, unfortunately, deviated from the truths of the Bible."
Without political correctness, Mr. Stephens is now a defender of truth; accepting his commission to expose false teachings within the church while concurrently encouraging others in sound doctrine. Exercising his passion for writing, he has written several articles for this website that directly addresses some malevolent doctrines within many of today's modern churches.

"Diversity and division is infinitely more precious than a satanic unity. The problem God's people are facing today: Satan wants unity in what? -- in error. God would infinitely prefer division because of truth. Do you know what Jesus said in Matthew 10? He said, 'I have come not to bring peace, not to bring unity, but to bring division, to set a son against his father, a daughter against her mother, so that people within their own households will be enemies of each other.' That is what Jesus said he came to do ... God's smashing of satanic ecumenical unity was an incredible blessing [Genesis 11: the Tower of Babel] ... The potential for satanic depravity is infinite, as long as what continues? -- a unity in error -- organized blasphemy. Measure this friends. Grasp it. Satan will, in his brief hour, at the end of this world, be given his opportunity to demonstrate what total unity is like in the human race, when every person will have a mark on the forehead or right hand, and will walk lockstep under incredible blasphemy ...
"You say, 'We want unity.' Oh, really? What kind of unity? 'We want all the churches to get together.' Oh, really? You mean in error, in confusion, in heresy? That is, dear friends, the ecumenical movement of our hour, in which all the great denominations and all the great church leaders are becoming more and more unified. In what? -- in compromise and theological error; and this is the ultimate horror"
