It is interesting to note that Planned Parenthood has failed to denounce Margaret Sanger's brutal racial philosophies. Instead, they deceitfully portray her as an eminent figure. For example, Planned Parenthood's first abortion clinic, which is located in New York City, was named after Margaret Sanger. In addition, PPFA established a prestigious "Margaret Sanger Awards" program that is designed to honor those who promote and support their cause.

The following quotes further demonstrate that Planned Parenthood embraces Sanger's legacy with dignity:

"I believe Margaret Sanger would have been proud of us today if she had seen the directions that we have most recently in this organization taken." -- Faye Wattleton, former President of PPFA, at Planned Parenthood's annual luncheon in St. Louis, on May 2, 1979.

"First, as you know, as we celebrate the 100th birthday of Margaret Sanger, our outrageous and our courageous leader, we will probably find a number of areas in which we may want to find more about Margaret Sanger than we thought we wanted to know ... we should be very proud of what we are and what our mission is. It is a very grand mission ... abortion is only the tip of the iceberg." -- Excerpt from the transcript of the address given by Faye Wattleton, former President of PPFA, at a luncheon in St. Louis, Missouri, on February 5, 1979.

Another issue of Planned Parenthood that requires exposing is their financial gains. While PPFA alleges it is a non-profit health care organization, they have made fortunes killing millions of innocent unborn babies. According to Planned Parenthood's Annual Reports from 1987 to 2003, they have brought in $502,800,000 in profits. Yet, in spite of their hefty gains, each year Planned Parenthood continually petitions for more money. Since 1987, PPFA has received at least 2.5 billion dollars from taxpayers alone. In addition, Planned Parenthood has secured billions of dollars from donations.

The diabolical schemes of Planned Parenthood appear to have no boundaries as they attempt to promote their agenda by any means necessary. For example, their jarring response to the tragedies of September 11, 2001 was to donate patriotic red, white, and blue condoms. In addition, they offered free abortions to the women of New York City, including those who lost their loved ones in the World Trade Center. On a day where 3000 innocent people lost their lives, Planned Parenthood had the temerity to update the toll of victims to include innocent unborn babies. Al-Qaeda used jet airliners to target innocent people in buildings; Planned Parenthood uses knives, forceps, and chemical weapons to target innocent unborn babies in the womb.

Planned Parenthood continued its contemptible publicity tactics in May, 2002 by launching their electronic Mother's Day cards. One particular e-card had the slogan, "every child a wanted child". The hypocrisy behind such a statement is gloriously incredible considering that PPFA is the largest abortion provider in the United States. For every adoption referral, Planned Parenthood performs 80 abortions! Let's also be reminded that this is an organization whose founder, Margaret Sanger, had philosophies rooted in racism, population control, and eugenics.

During the holiday season of 2002, Planned Parenthood had the audacity to introduce its Christmas cards and T-shirts that featured the words, "Choice on Earth". In the PPFA Dictionary, the word "choice" is simply defined as "the freedom to kill an unborn child". Planned Parenthood's slogan is clearly in contradiction of the true meaning of Christmas. Jesus Christ came to bring life and healing, whereas it is the mission of PPFA to profit from destruction and death. For those of us who believe in the true and only God of the Bible, it should be clear that Planned Parenthood is an organization of demonic influence. As the Word of God states, "The Thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy". (John 10:10)

In these last days, Satan and his terrorist partner in crime, Planned Parenthood, are becoming more brazen and proud of their sadistic works. In its ongoing marketing campaign, PPFA released its latest product in July, 2004. It is a T-shirt for post-abortive women that boldly proclaim, "I had an abortion." While many people have rightfully found the T-shirt grossly offensive, Planned Parenthood reports that numerous women have purchased it; even selling out in some of their slaughter clinics. How any woman can wear such a shirt with pride and zeal is beyond description. Murdering one's own child is not something to be proud of ... unless of course one is a disciple of Margaret Sanger's radical philosophies that originated from the depths of Hell.

RAGING WAR AGAINST ABORTION AND PLANNED PARENTHOOD'S NETWORK OF TERROR

While terrorism has been occurring for numerous years ... admittedly, on September 11, 2001, the United States "got caught with its pants down". As a result of our country's complacency and incognizance, Al-Qaeda terrorist were able to successfully hijack four aircraft, killing 3000 innocent people. This tragic event was a "wake up call" to the dangers of national and global terrorism. It was a horrific reality that prompted President Bush's war against terror.

Similarly and sadly, many in the Christian Church have been deafening silent on the issue of abortion. In light of the multitudes of innocent unborn babies being murdered via abortion, how long must it be before Christians "wake up" and take a stand for those who cannot speak for themselves? With barbaric organizations such as Planned Parenthood on the prowl, Christians have the moral obligation to speak out and take action against those who kill defenseless children. We cannot afford to be complacent spectators.

Quoting Elie Wiesel, a Nazi Holocaust survivor: "I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes we must interfere when human lives are in danger, when human dignity is in danger."

That must be our vision. Those who remain in a state of apathy will have the blood of aborted babies on their hands. Christians who are ready to get involved and rage war against abortion and Planned Parenthood, I encourage the following:

1. Pray, identify and use the specific talents God has given you.
2. Counsel women who are considering abortion.
3. Consider activism.
4. Do personal research and share your knowledge with others.
5. Purchase Pro-Life products. Many are available from Heritage House (www.hh76.com).
6. Contact Congress, legislators and other elected officials.
7. Distribute Pro-Life literature.
8. Support a Crisis Pregnancy Center in your area.
9. Support Pro-Life organizations.
10. Attend Pro-Life conferences such as National Right to Life (www.nrlc.org) and March for Life (www.marchforlife.org).
