When I'm Down Poem

And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you. My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9

That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:10

How much I need the Grace of God,
To pick me up when I fall behind;
How much I need the Word of God,
To strengthen my heart & renew my mind.

How much I need the Peace of Christ,
To lift me up when my faith is small;
How much I need the Truth of Christ,
To strengthen my heart burdened by the Fall.

How much I need the Hope of Heaven,
To raise me up with Resurrection power;
How much I need the Life of Heaven,
To strengthen my heart in today's hour.

My Father, how much I need Your Spirit
To carry me up off this heathen ground;
How much I need You, Holy Spirit,
To strengthen my heart when I'm down.
