They model there ministry after Creflo Dollar, and by the way they are both part of the "sons & daughters of Creflo Dollar", which is pretty scary, I thought we were sons and daughters of God not a man. Ever since I told them that I have problems with Creflo's doctorines, they basically have ex-communicated me. I really don't have a relationship with my sister anymore. I use to go to their church, but after hearing so many false and arrogant statements I could not take it anymore. And I have to admit, I was very offended by the way they treated my wife, she has severe rheaumatoid arthritis, any they basically ignored her because she did't represent what they considered living in victory. I just wanted to encourage you,and thank you for having the boldness to take on this very demonic teaching. Mr. Stephens' Comment: Although believers may experience physical healing based on their faith and God's sovereign choice, Mark 16:18 is not related to assured divine physical healing in today's church age. Contrary to the Faith Movement's claims, God does not always heal every believer. The complete expanse of healing that was purchased in the atonement will not be experienced until after the resurrection and glorification (Rom. 8:22-25, 1 Cor. 15:42-43, 51-54, Phil. 3:20-21, Rev. 21:4).

In light of 1 Tim. 6:3-10: From God's perspective, true gain (prosperity) is attained when one lives a godly life and becomes content with their material possessions. Granted there are a number of Christians who have been blessed with much money and other material resources; however, this is not the state or criteria one must reach to be recognized as prosperous by biblical terms. God's Word alludes to believers who were materially poor, as well as those who were materially rich. Thus, we cannot offer poverty nor wealth as an absolute prescriptive pertaining to godliness. To do otherwise would lead to an out of context and unbalanced view of the Bible. The apostle Paul exemplified a more balanced viewpoint (Phil. 4:11-13)."

"Pretty interesting stuff. TD Jakes is loaded. I am in Dallas. He has a lot of people in the gospel world that think he is an unbelievable pastor. I read a lot of Joyce Meyers stuff. She should not be limped in here with the creflos and all. Her teachings if you read her books are very positive and mentally and spiritually stimulating, and she is not really hawking getting rich. Being a Christina for only a couple of years I never heard of Creflo until I saw him on TV one night last year. I actually really liked his sermon. What I did not like was the send your money thing, and that is the theme in your paper of all these guys. I AGREE with you. This kind of "theology" is what turns the outside world off to being a believer, and has some people robotized. I really do not think Joyce should be in this group. One thing I found interesting about your paper.. is the first page.. how true it is. it IS a shame these people are around..and I enjoyed your paper..
