Like A Rock Poem

When I think I am right I always stand my ground!

I am not one to ever let other folks push me around!

I am never wrong so you had better stay out of my way!

I was born faultless without ever a need to pray!

Don’t ever tell me I am wrong or you will surely pay

As my barrage of profanity is quickly fired your way!

I never do anything to offend unlike the rest of my crowd

I am not one to apologize because I am just too proud.

I do not really care if my behavior makes someone sad

Why should I offer any apologies to my Mom and Dad?

I will never allow myself to be put out in any way

Just to ensure that another person has a happy day!

When I look into the mirror a blind man is looking back

I cannot see my own faults and that is a fact!

I stand firm like a Rock against the mighty winds!

Watching the storms I create blow away all my friends!
