A DEFENSE FOR THE UNBORN

DEFENDING THOSE WHO CANNOT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES

RAGING WAR AGAINST ABORTION AND PLANNED PARENTHOOD

Sadly, many in the Christian Church have been deafeningly silent on the issue of abortion. In light of the multitudes of innocent unborn babies being murdered via abortion, how long must it be before Christians "wake up" and take a stand for those who cannot speak for themselves? With barbaric organizations such as Planned Parenthood on the prowl, Christians have the moral obligation to speak out and take action against those who kill defenseless children. We cannot afford to be complacent spectators. Quoting Elie Wiesel, a Nazi Holocaust survivor:

"I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes we must interfere when human lives are in danger, when human dignity is in danger."

That must be our vision. Those who remain in a state of apathy will have the blood of aborted babies on their hands. If you are a Christian who is ready to get involved and rage war against abortion and Planned Parenthood, I encourage the following:

1) Pray, identify, and use the specific talents God has given you.

2) Counsel women who are considering abortion.

3) Consider activism.

4) Do personal research and share your knowledge with others.

5) Purchase Pro-Life products. Many are available from Heritage House (www.hh76.com).

6) Contact Congress, legislators, and other elected officials.

7) Distribute Pro-Life literature.

8) Support a Crisis Pregnancy Center in your area.

9) Support Pro-Life organizations.

10) Attend Pro-Life conferences such as National Right to Life (www.nrlc.org) and March for Life (www.marchforlife.org).
