APOSTLES OF APOSTASY

APOSTLES OF APOSTASY

By: Zettalee Dennis

"For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears." (Acts 20:29-31)

Jesus came into humanity...

And was accused of being a man,

Declaring Himself to be God...

When in truth, He was God

Made in the likeness of man...

For the purpose of redemption.

Now we have men,

made in the likeness of God...

forming God, into the image

of their own imagination...

Man, creating God,

into his own likeness...

Rejecting Truth, to receive the lie...

Man's doctrine,

esteemed above the Word of God...

For the purpose of wrath,

The delusion is poured forth -

preached by hirelings,

who crucify the spirit,

in place of the flesh...

These are the apostles,

of apostasy.

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works." (2 Cor. 11:13-15)

"But in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men." (Matt. 15:9)

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves." (Matt. 7:15)

"But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber." (2 Peter 2:1-3)

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." (2 Tim. 4:3-4)
